Winch Operator (Offshore Assignment Work), Dordrecht

Description

Offshore means "off the coast" or "at sea," and in an industrial context, it refers to activities conducted away from land. We are looking for an employee for a company operating in the marine and offshore industry worldwide for the position of winch operator. After thorough training at the company's headquarters in Dordrecht, you will execute projects around the globe. The company also rents out specialized equipment under the supervision of qualified operators. After the project is completed, the equipment must be returned to the company headquarters for maintenance in optimal condition.

• Responsibilities
• :
• Perform repair and maintenance of equipment in the workshop in Dordrecht or during assignments
• Assemble, operate, and later dismantle equipment during the rental period at client locations.

Requirements

• Good command of the English language (spoken and written)
• Education in the field of mechanics, hydraulics, or electrical engineering
• Experience in the offshore or construction industry and related fields
• Experience in operating winches, cranes, or hydraulic equipment
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of diesel and hydraulic techniques
